We did the Cascadia tour with Paul and enjoyed it a lot. The scenery was wonderful - we saw an amazing water cascade, high bluffs, and a 10m waterfall. The tour is accessible for everyone and our guide took good care of us. We did a bit of kayaking before but the very good explanations given at the beginning allowed us to clearly improve our technique. Paul was amazing. Very friendly and providing a lot of useful information about kayaking, the lake, the region and the people. The tour lasted more than 3 hours but it left a desire for more. I would recommend it without hesitation and moderation. Looking forward to the pictures which the tour operator makes available for free. And yes, the snack provided - the home-made granola bar is amazing as well.
My girlfriend and I went for the 9am waterfall tour. We had a great time. The kayaks were built by the owner and were a good paddle. Our guide Steve was organized, informative and had a great attitude! Awesome views, some history and overall a great experience.
My wife and I met Terry when we were travelling west from Calgary. We stopped in Revelstoke, and am I ever happy we did. Terry set up an amazing overnight camping spot for us at Carnes Creek Campsite on less than 12 hours notice. He was just an absolute joy to deal with, not only did he set us up with the kayaks and all the gear we needed. He even gave us an extra fishing rod to use ( which I dropped in the lake by accident. New one is on the way !) He and his son even delivered them, escorted us to the campsite, told us about all the great spots in revelstoke to eat and check out and all the best routes to kayak near Carnes Creek. We had a great day on lake revelstoke and when Terry came later that night to pick up the kayaks he even had fresh baking for us from the modern bakery ! I have to say, Terry really stands out in our minds as one of the most pleasant people we had the good fortune of meeting along our 10 day trip. I will be back again and I highly recommend checking out Natural Escapes Kayaking and Canoeing if your ever anywhere near Revelstoke, BC.
On may 12th Alex and Steve took me and Patrick out on the lake for a great tour. A part from the excellent weather conditions i was impressed by their skills and engagement. They were very knowlegable and that gave me a very secure feeling. The pics are great guys especially the ones with the snowy mountains in the back ground and the waterfalls. A memorable outdoor activity, well done.Rich
We have done the waterfall kayak tour a few days ago and we can certainly recommend this tour!We called the day before to reserve and Terrys wife gave us all the information we needed. Besides all information, like meeting point and what to wear, is easy to retrieve through their website. The instructions were explained in a very clear and funny way. Terry and his wife gave every single one on this tour personal attention and they made sure everyone was having a good time. The homemade granola bar was delicious and they even had an alternative for vegans or people with a nut allergy. The photos were easy to download afterwards, so you dont have to worry about bringing your own camera. Terry and his wife took care of everything during the tour, so we could really enjoy the ride.
