Enjoyed 2-night stay in RV spot; beautiful setting, convenient location , and wonderful staff. Janice & JC went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Campground is making wonderful improvements, and we would definitely stay here again.The area of Revelstoke offers a range of activities regardless of the weather, Railroad museum, Forestry museum and the Revelstoke Dam are not to be missed.
Campground has undergone extensive renovations. Newly paved Roads, New road crush on campsites, new grass/landscaping, new tables, new power,water,sewer hookups, Security access gates, Wifi, Washroom and shower facilities are modern and clean. Customer service was excellent and very informative about the ongoing renovations, This is a very clean and modern campground. The campground is more orientated for short stays and A,B,C class RV units. Our Hybrid trailer was ok except for highway and train noise. Be for warned, as one can see from a google map, very close to the busy main highway and a very busy rail line. (24-7 traffic/train noise)
The facilities are nice but if you are tent camping this is not recommended. You hear the train every hour really loudly and it's really close to the highway. If you want quiet this is not the place.
Nicely renovated. Clean bathrooms. The highway and train tracks can be noisy.
