We went on a late check-in and found that the site booked has already someone camping at it. The host lets us stay at the parking lot with our camper van and gave us our refund. The lake is pretty nice green coloured. Its sandy and you could see fishes swimming around. Washrooms & showers were free.
Nice spot. Beach is really busy so good luck finding a spot on the beach if your with a family or large group. The 18 hole mini golf course is pretty cool tho.
We stopped here for the day. What a perfect place to cool off! The kids loved all the fish in the water and the two docks. The canteen has reasonable prices. The bathrooms were fine, actually the floor was surprisingly clean given the amount of foot traffic. Didn't do the mini golf, but it looks cute and is cheap. Kids loved the playground. Campsites look great. I totally want to camp here now!
Sweet little lake just on the outskirts of Revelstoke, some 3 kilometres from downtown so it is so accessible! The showers and sinks are clean and plenty of hot water is available. There are tenting sites by the lake and fully hookups on the upper level. We like this place a lot even though we generally stay at Provincial campsites.
We have now camped here a handful of times and we love it. It has a perfect little beach and lake to swim in. Its not too far from everything either. The sites are large and well treed. Love it every time we come.
