Awesome camp site. Bathrooms are clean and newly renovated. Showers are free. A little hwy noise but nothing to complain about. Check in is 1 pm I showed up at 9 am and they accommodate me and let me set up. Awesome people. Would definitely stay here again.
The cabin we stayed in was clean and super cute. Staff was friendly and informative. As well there were lots of activities going on when we arrived so it is a great anyone young or old. We found the rates were affordable and will stay when passing through again.
This is a nice place for 1 or 2 nights. If you don't mind screaming kids and people walking through your site (literally they brush up against you as you sit by the fire...) this is an OK place. The pool was nice but lots of kids, so its family friendly. Showers are nice and free. The best part I liked were the huge trees. They also pack everyone in like sardines, so get used to look at your neighbors trailer.
The campground itself is decent but this campground lacks a good vibe. The staff don't even greet you if they walk right by you. It's very strange when the owners are constantly walking around but never wave or say hello. I believe the general lack of friendliness has been passed on to the rest of the employees. This is really too bad since it's one of the nicer campground in Revelstoke. The city of Revelstoke has such a cool vibe; too bad the Revelstoke campground doesn't follow suit.
Although there is nothing wrong with this campground, it's not a favourite and if I had another option I'd likely not come back. Extremely dusty, so much that you pretty much cover your drinks if someone drives by. The sites are large enough, but they're pretty dusty too. Although the river is somewhat close by, there isn't really any access to the river. In fairness they have a pool. The lower level is almost like an after thought with all amenities on the upper level. They advertise wifi, but only up next to the office and cell coverage is spotty here, so if you want to stay connected during your stay you have a hard time doing that from your site. The staff are friendly and receptive and they have some interesting social activities. I think with some little amount of work it could be 5 stars.
