Called to book and told that third adult needs a separate cabin due to insurance issues. Walk in and it's a 4 bedroom cabin, so plenty of space so our friend doesn't need the second cabin by himself. Clearly schemes in place to extract every cent they can. Nothing offered but a bed. Don't bother with the camping cabin at $95 per night.

By far the worst campsite I've been to in my entire life--and I've been to a lot. We called ahead and were assured we could check-in late, given we just had a tent. When we arrived, the gate was closed. I was volunteered to go walking into the resort to find out how we could check in, so I headed a hundred metres or so up the completely unlit road, trying to find reception. Lights, or signs, would have been helpful. After circling around the place, finding reception closed with chairs blocking the door, I tried calling them again. A very abrupt lady answered the phone and told me to wait for her where I was. I did that, not very impressed with what had happened so far, and she insisted I come into reception. I tried to explain that my friend was waiting in the car and had been for 10 minutes, and by this point had probably assumed I'd been eaten by bears. But this wasn't the woman's priority--her priority was getting money. So I paid the woman--and too much, might I add--got a map, and she asked where my friend was. I said at the gate, and so she directed me to cross a large unlit field as a short-cut to get back to her. I legit thought this was the place I was going to die.I reached the car with a map, where my friend said that she'd already made the decision that if I didn't come back, she wasn't coming after me, and was going to call emergency services instead! We headed to the hidden second entrance, and tried to follow the map. Which seemed to in no way reflect the campground's layout. We found ourselves in some rickety back-woods by a river, so headed to the start to try again. A good while later, we found our campsite. Finally. This is where the final fun part kicked in--the campsite was right next to the highway, so we were kept awake most of the night with the noise.DO NOT STAY HERE if you can possibly help it.

Was a lovely spot to stop for the night. We stayed in a cabin which was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot springs were relaxing, unfortunately with the local Forest fires the view was covered in smoke but you could tell that if the smoke were to clear it would have been breath taking.

Nice spot but the surcharge for having more than two people on a site is a little crazy. No comment on the food because we could not afford it. Some of the staff is not the most friendly. The freight trains that run through the back of the camp sites also could be a bother to some people but are a train enthusiasts delight!

Large private campsites. Some sites with power/water. Good bathrooms with pay showers if needed. Good location between Revelstoke and Glacier National parks. Friendly staff. Only downfall by railroad tracks and trains go by all night. Always seem to have space even if you roll in late.
